Hey y’all, welcome back! I hope y’all are staying safe, healthy, and inside. A lot of my friends have been online shopping a bunch lately because of the shelter-in-place orders, so I felt like sharing some pieces I’ve picked up recently.
If you’ve been reading the blog for a while now you’d know that I’ve been falling for neutrals this year. I still love bright colors, but it’s much easier to build a neutral wardrobe because essentially everything goes with everything. Here are two more muted pieces you can rock this spring.
Sweet and Sage
Me in green? It’s a rare sight, but I was looking to get out of my usual pattern of black, navy, and pink dresses with this one. This sage green color is absolutely stunning and I think it’ll look even better once I get more of a tan.
Another thing I like about this dress is the eyelet lace material. I don’t own much lace, but I really enjoy it. I like the combination of such a girly fabric with a not super girly color.
I styled this dress with nude heels and simple silver jewelry for a cute look for a sorority formal or a graduation event.
I also styled this dress with simple nude sandals and white statement earrings for an everyday spring and summer outfit.
This rusty orange top was also out of my normal color palette, but I love swiss dot fabric so this piece was calling my name.
I am always looking for tops that I can either wear to class or activities outside of class that aren’t parties, like dinner with friends or going to a museum. Most of the tops in my closet are sweaters and as the days get warmer, I want tops that are appropriate for a wide range of activities.
I styled this top with dark wash jeans, platform snakeskin sneakers, and simple gold jewelry. You could definitely style this for nighttime with black jeans and black booties or the office with dress pants and flats.
For practicality, I would wear this outfit with a black and snakeskin crossbody bag.

I hope y’all enjoyed these neutral spring pieces. Once again, I hope y’all are healthy and happy. These times are very strange and I want to continue spreading positivity by creating content for y’all right now.
