Ellie Activewear September Lookbook and Review
Hey y’all, welcome back! Today I’m going to be sharing with y’all my set from Ellie this month. Ellie is an activewear subscription box with adorable, trendy pieces. This month was my first time trying Ellie and I was not disappointed. Hopefully, I’ll be able to share more Ellie products with y’all in the coming months. Also, before I get into it, I want to give a big shoutout to my friend Sophia for taking these fun pictures with me! If you want to check out her photography, you can click here.
In my box, I received a sports bra, leggings, long sleeve top, and water bottle. The sports bra is a low impact, racerback sports bra with mesh detailing and gold reflects. It’s definitely my favorite piece in the box, it’s really soft and comfortable, but still supportive.
The leggings are the piece I am most unsure about. The design is super cute, but the material is kind of weird. It’s not brushed like a Lululemon or Yogalicious legging, but it’s also not athletic like compression leggings from Nike, it’s somewhere in between. Because of this, the material is also kind of thin and shows underwear lines. They also run a bit small, so I would recommend sizing up. They are squat proof though, which is always a plus.
The long sleeve top, not pictured, is a light sweatshirt material and perfect for throwing on for going to the gym or just a light layer. I don’t like to work out in long sleeves, but if you do you’ll probably like this top.
I also received a silvery waterbottle which is adorable! I have a ton of reusable waters, but I don’t think you can have too many. This one is pretty similar to a S’Well bottle in both size and make. That means it’s good at keeping drinks hot and cold, which is necessary for the heat right now.
I hope y’all enjoyed reading about my first month trying Ellie! I have been working out a lot since I’ve been back at school, so I’m always in the market for new workout pieces.
Love from Boston,
