Hey y’all, welcome back! I’m missing life at school a whole lot right now, so it’s only fair I write a post about a perfect college outfit. Lately, I’ve been trying to pick up a lot of tops/blouses because I often find myself in this situation: my friends want to go to dinner. I can wear a sweater, which feels too daytime, or a bodysuit or tube top, which feels too fratty. For whatever reason, I just don’t own a lot of tops for everyday wear.
I found this silver tank when I was picking out my latest Express order and I thought it was perfect for my college needs. It could be worn for a nicer dinner with friends or to a party, depending on how you style it.
For a dinner look, I styled this top with medium wash jeans. These ones have a twist because they have a black stripe down the sides. I added delicate silver jewelry and white sneakers.
During the warmer months, this outfit would also look cute with sandals. Throw on a denim or leather jacket and you’re ready for a fun night with friends.
The best part about this particular metallic top is that it’s not itchy. So many metallic, sparkly, or glittery tops are super uncomfortable, but this one is actually super comfortable.
For a more frat or bar appropriate look, I paired this top with dark wash jeans. Add a belt with a silver buckle, some statement jewelry, and your favorite going out shoes.

I hope y’all enjoyed this post! I am looking forward to writing more college outfit posts in the coming months because I honestly had no idea what to expect before I started school. As usual, stay healthy and stay inside please!
