Hey y’all, welcome back! This week was my last at home before going back to school and it just flew by. I spent a lot of time just hanging out with my family.
August 11, 2019: I spent most of the day working on the blog and my online class. I also tried a new recipe for lunch because I still couldn’t eat that much from my surgery. I boiled water a put in the Trader Joes vegetable gyoza and then added ramen noodles and flavoring. It was a really good way to upgrade top ramen!
August 12, 2019: I had a super busy day content-wise. I shot an outfit for the blog and then shot some glasses for Warby Parker and did my last face mask for my Masqueology post.
August 13, 2019: This was a pretty busy day for me as well. I made a pina colada smoothie bowl for breakfast and I had a call about an event in Boston this fall that I’m attending. I also had my follow up appointment for my wisdom teeth. They told me everything was healing nicely, which was good to hear! After my appointment, I went to Trader Joes to pick up some groceries. For dinner, I made mushroom ravioli.
August 14, 2019: Wednesday was pretty lowkey compared to Monday and Tuesday. I took pictures in my Warby Parker glasses and then went to the post office to send back my home try-on box. I also wrote a guest post for a friend’s blog. It was also SO hot, my car was reading 102. It doesn’t get very hot in Northern California, so I was unprepared for this weather.
August 15, 2019: I don’t remember much of what happened on Thursday except that it was really hot and I made a tasty smoothie with cantaloupe, pineapple, and coconut water.
August 16, 2019: I went to the mall to pick up some pieces I ordered from Forever 21. At the mall, I remembered why I don’t go anymore. The Forever 21 was such a mess, it was so dirty and there were clothes strewn everywhere. It’s funny because in middle school I was obsessed with going to the mall, but now I hate it. It was another super hot day and I enjoyed being able to drive with my windows down and sunroof open.
August 17, 2019: I shot the Forever 21 pieces with my mom for a blog post coming in the next few weeks. It was foggy and cool all day, which was a nice change from the crazy hot weather from the days before. I spent a lot of time hanging out with my mom and I also binged the whole second season of Mindhunter.
This week I’ve also been obsessing over this Southern Folk playlist from Apple music this week!
Love from Mill Valley,
